ServiceNow Project Manager – CMDB & IT Asset Governance

Our client, a prominent organization in the transport sector, is looking for an experienced leader to drive the implementation of IT configuration management processes. This role focuses on defining organizational outcomes and overseeing the full lifecycle delivery of a configuration management system within a complex technical landscape.

• Define and ensure organizational outcomes are met regarding the implementation of IT Configuration Management processes and the CMDB.
• Identify key stakeholders and capture expectations concerning configuration processes and data accuracy.
• Lead a team of functional and technical experts to prepare and execute delivery plans.
• Translate business requirements into technical outputs such as automated data source integrations and discovery tools.
• Manage data maintenance activities for configuration items and services to ensure long-term data integrity.
• Oversee project planning, budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and steering committees while providing regular progress reporting to leadership.

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT Software or SaaS implementation projects.
• Proven experience in IT Configuration Management and CMDB implementation.
• You possess strong project management capabilities across planning, budgeting, and scope management.
• You bring experience with ITIL processes implementation.
• You have knowledge of project delivery methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, PM², PMBOK, or Prince2.
• You're experienced in navigating complex environments with multiple stakeholders and managing ambiguity.
• You are fluent in English with C1 level of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in ServiceNow implementation including Discovery, integrations, and CSDM.
• Prior experience within the public sector.

• Start date: 01/07/2026.
• Duration: project until 31/12/2027.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid (onsite on Wednesday and Thursday).
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
