Process Management Specialist – BPMN & Business Optimization

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is seeking a specialist to establish a practical foundation for consistent process management. This role focuses on building governance structures and leading end-to-end optimization initiatives to increase organizational maturity.

• Map end-to-end processes with a focus on client perspective, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Model business processes using BPMN and digital tools to document roles, controls, and information flows.
• Facilitate workshops and guide teams in addressing inefficiencies and unclear responsibilities.
• Develop pragmatic methodologies and base agreements to support process-oriented work.
• Execute process optimizations for financial cycles, onboarding, and dossier management.
• Share knowledge to enable teams to work independently and consistently with established processes.

• You possess 5+ years of experience in process optimization, description, and business improvement.
• You bring 5+ years of expertise in BPMN and digital modeling tools such as Visio.
• You have 5+ years of experience leading and managing projects using PM methodologies.
• You have 5+ years of experience facilitating workshops and guiding teams through change.
• You possess 5+ years of experience working within a public sector or government context.
• You hold a higher degree, such as a Bachelor or Master.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working specifically within the Flemish government.
• Familiarity with project environments related to natural resource management.

• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week onsite in Brussels and 1 day in a regional office)
