Azure Backend Developer – Azure & .NET

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a developer to drive the creation of serverless applications and integration services. The role focuses on designing and maintaining high-quality software solutions within a collaborative, agile project environment.

• Develop and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Container Apps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments across various environments.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes with Cosmos DB and Redis Cache.
• Integrate external systems through SOAP and REST services using OAuth authentication.
• Translate functional assignments into technical analyses and architectural solutions.
• Ensure software quality by writing unit tests and following Test-Driven Development practices.

• You bring 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.
• You possess 5+ years of expertise in IT integration and services design.
• You have experience with Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault.
• You bring knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML, WSDL, and JSON.
• You have experience with Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and Redis Cache.
• You possess experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• You have a basic understanding of Kubernetes.
• You're analytically strong, accurate, and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in English with a native level of Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Possession of AZ-204, AZ-900, DP-700, or PL-300 certifications.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of insurance mobility underwriting and claims processes.
• Willingness to work with AI.

• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite)
