Full Stack Developer – Public Safety Operations & Microservices

Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a professional to support the digitalization of operational processes. The role involves contributing to a strategic, modular platform built on a microservices architecture within a multidisciplinary Agile team.

• Develop and maintain scalable applications within a microservices-based environment.
• Ensure technical quality through systematic testing, debugging, and automation.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to team members to foster growth.
• Operate effectively within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver modular solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and QA profiles to ensure seamless integration.
• Contribute to technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

• 5+ years experience in the development of web-based applications.
• Proficiency in frontend development using Javascript, React, and CSS.
• Technical expertise in backend development with Node.js.
• Solid understanding of Microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of database management with PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience using RabbitMQ for messaging.
• Experience with containerization through Docker.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience leading a development team and coaching developers.
• Knowledge of Elixir and Redis.
• Familiarity with AI Coding tools and managing large data volumes.
• Previous experience working in a public safety or law enforcement context.
