Expert Technical Transition Coordinator – Infrastructure & Managed Services

Our client, a major organization in the transportation sector, is seeking an Expert Technical Transition Coordinator to orchestrate the migration of services and responsibilities across environments and providers. This role serves as the primary link between internal technical teams and external partners, ensuring service continuity and effective knowledge transfer during a major managed services renewal phase.

• Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, timelines, and transformation checklists to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate technical onboarding and offboarding activities while acting as the primary point of contact for transition-related communication.
• Validate documentation handovers, system access transfers, and process walkthroughs to capture critical technical knowledge.
• Identify transition risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent service disruptions and ensure contingency planning.
• Maintain accurate transition documentation, including asset inventories, configuration records, and operational runbooks.
• Monitor early-life support post-handover and facilitate regular status meetings between vendors and internal business units.

• You have 15+ years of professional experience within the IT sector.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure focusing on servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• You bring 5+ years of experience working with outsourcing partners and managing complex transitions between service providers.
• You have 5+ years of experience coordinating technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, asset records, and configuration records.
• You possess 5+ years of experience managing complex workstreams with structured plans and tracking tools.
• You're experienced in validating transition readiness before cutover and formal handover.
• You're able to ensure compliance with security, data protection, and governance requirements during migrations.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with at least a B2 level in English.
