About this event
Learning goals of this training:
- Solve simple and/or regularly recurring problems in a structured and lasting way
- Understand the difference between lean and 6-sigma and why both can be complementary in a project
- Understanding the tools and techniques that can be used in a yellow belt project
- Understand that lean and six sigma can be applied in any environment (production, lab, administration, etc.) and is sector-independent
To accomplish this, the first part of the training focuses on where you stand today in your Journey, and where to go next. The second part focusses on how to get there.
The tools we use during the first part are the Leadership Circle (incl. self-assessment) and the Mindset Continuum.
The tool for the second part is the Compound Method (incl. determination of your personal values and initiation of your Personal Action Plan).
Six Sigma and Lean are 2 methods/philosophies that ensure that problems are solved in a definitive manner and that processes are simplified without sacrificing quality.
There are different levels in LSS. Yellow Belt is the entry level. We are going to look at different tools. We will link certification to the delivery of a completed Yellow Belt project.
We will provide 2 classroom sessions. Those who wish to participate should know that both sessions are mandatory.
Both sessions are in March: 09/03 and 23/03
