Niet noodzakelijk. Veel rollen aanvaarden een technische bachelor (of master) met basisautomatisatiekennis en leergierigheid. Instapfuncties bevatten vaak on-the-job training in PLC en SCADA/visualisatiesystemen.
Gebruikelijke platforms zijn Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, en SCADA/HMI-systemen, communicatieprotocollen (zoals PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus). Kennis van regeltechniek, I/O-mapping en motion control is een plus, net als ervaring met robotics of vision systems.
Beiden. Engineering en programmeren gebeuren op kantoor, maar je bezoekt sites voor testen, commissioning en troubleshooting bij live-gang van systemen.
Je kan aan de slag in farma, chemie, food & beverage, automotive, energie, infrastructuur en vele andere sectoren. Automatisatiekennis is overal waardevol.
