Prevention advisor level 2, sometimes level 3. That certificate is the real selection criterion, not the job title, because advisor, prevention advisor and safety supervisor all cover the same work.
No. You reach level 2 either through a bachelor in integral safety, which takes three years, or through the prevention advisor programme, which runs about a year. How you obtained the certificate makes no difference. Engineers do this work too, and so do technicians and foremen who took the course.
Inspections, checking that things are done properly, investigating incidents to understand how they happened and how to prevent them, and advising. You work close to the site supervisors and the people on the floor.
Usually not. Experience from another industry counts fully.
Safety coordinator A comes up most often, especially where civil works are involved, in pharma or outside it. On site as an advisor it is usually a strong plus and sometimes a must, depending on the vacancy. Environmental coordinator A or B is asked for far less often.
