Four honest answers to questions Product Managers actually ask.
At most clients, Product Manager leans on the roadmap, the market and the business case, while Product Owner leans on the backlog and the sprint. The exact split differs per organisation.
That differs per client. At some you own it outright; at others you build it together with a business owner who signs it off. We are honest about which one an assignment is before you accept it.
Not required. Many Product Managers come from analysis, marketing or consulting. An affinity with tech and data helps, but you do not have to code yourself.
