Press release: Pauwels Consulting takes over Science@Work

Science@Work has a strong position in the science and laboratory industry in the Dutch and Belgian markets. The acquisition strengthens Pauwels Consulting’s services to clients and jobseekers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, chemical, medical devices, food and beverage industries.

Whereas Pauwels Consulting’s over 1100-strong staff focus on consultancy services in life sciences, engineering and IT, Science@Work is a major player in recruitment and selection for permanent jobs. No less than 450 professionals found a new job in 2021 thanks to Science@Work.

Pauwels Consulting successfully built a solid organisation in the Netherlands in just under three years.  Following three acquisitions of specialised ICT and engineering consulting companies in the Netherlands, Science@Work now brings significant life sciences knowledge to the group. In addition to our offices in Rotterdam, Nieuwegein and Hoofddorp, this acquisition gives us an extra office in Amsterdam.  

Following the acquisition, the Pauwels Consulting team has more than 1200 experts in life sciences, engineering and IT. Pauwels Consulting was founded in 1999 and has grown into a successful consulting group operating in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland under various brands and specialised divisions. Together with 3d Investors, Pauwels Consulting has already made 11 acquisitions in 7 years and the turnover has increased fivefold from €25 million to more than €120 million.
