Clinical Trials

Protecting patient safety

How can we help our clients with Clinical Trials?

Clinical research involves a long process from developing protocols that explain how to carry out the trials, over identifying clinical sites with the right type of patients, to carrying out the study and analysing the results.

Our consultants rigorously follow the correct scientific methods, the applicable regulations and guidance, as well as the ‘company standard operating procedures’ throughout this entire process. Our people are experienced in many different types of research, including medicine and medical equipment research.

What is our added value as Pauwels Consulting?

We have a very broad expertise in clinical research, spanning the whole process from developing protocols to analysing and reporting trial results. So no matter what part(s) of the process our clients need help with, our consultants are up to the task.

The roles

We are always looking to strengthen our team with the following experts:

Clinical Trial Associates (CTA)

Our Clinical Trial Associates (CTA) oversee clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, medical research institutes and government agencies. Our experts monitor Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Clinical Project Managers

Our Clinical Project Managers manage the activities of team members in clinical research projects to ensure compliance with protocols and overall clinical objectives. They plan, manage and coordinate clinical research projects and evaluate clinical data.

Clinical Research Assistants (CRA)

The main responsibility of our clinical research assistants is to monitor clinical trials. We ensure compliance with the clinical trial protocols, we check clinical site activities, we makes on-site visits, we review case report forms (CRFs), and we communicate with clinical research coordinators.

Laura Hermans

“The holy grail in Clinical is the patient’s rights, safety and welfare on the one hand and the reliability of trial data that are being generated on the other. Being able to contribute to the wellbeing and safe treatment of patients around the world is very satisfying.”
